At Advance Learning Academy High School (Circulos), we believe every child deserves the foundation and opportunities to thrive. We are dedicated to building strong early literacy skills, creating real-world career pathways, and ensuring college accessibility for all students. By combining academic excellence with hands-on experiences, we empower students to explore their passions, develop future-ready skills, and achieve success in whichever path they choose.

At Círculos, we are project-based, as we strive to provide authentic learning experiences for all students through student-centered, rigorous and relevant projects. Embedded within these projects are the Círculos competencies, which are a set of interdisciplinary skills that equip students with the skills necessary for success beyond high school. In addition, we offer flexible learning environments where the students' needs are prioritized, offering dual enrollment, CTE pathways, flexible scheduling, student interventions, study zones, and even passion sessions. Finally, we pride ourselves as a small learning community. Students are seen and heard daily, allowing them to cultivate their voices. Students regularly meet in circles to reflect on their learning, acknowledge challenges, and share successes. Not only are these circles focused on students' academics, but also on their social and emotional health.

Early College

High school students can take college courses and earn credit toward their degree while still enrolled in SAUSD.

SAUSD Arts

Students explore creativity through music, dance, theater, and visual arts programs that enrich learning and expression across all grade levels.
